CJC-1295 no DAC (often referred to as modified GRF 1-29) is a short-acting analog based on the 1–29 fragment of GHRH. Without the DAC moiety, it is not designed for prolonged albumin binding and acts for a shorter duration than the DAC-containing form. Its sequence includes amino-acid substitutions intended to improve stability and receptor interaction, and it is used in research on pulsatile growth-hormone secretion mechanisms.

Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2) and a selective growth hormone secretagogue (GHS) that mimics ghrelin, the hormone that stimulates the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. It is known to be highly effective and promotes growth hormone (GH) release without significantly affecting other hormones such as ACTH or cortisol, making it a unique candidate among growth hormone secretagogues.
